I Plot Line

The movie begins with a typical summertime gathering of friends and family for a middle-class family on a sweltering day. The story demonstrates the blatant discrimination against women. In the scene, ladies are cooking in the scorching kitchen while perspiring profusely, while males sit comfortably in the drawing room with fans and coolers on and beverages in hand. The dialogue demonstrates how equally women participate in prejudice against men and women, as well as between the rich and the poor. The gender differences between male and female children are even depicted in the story.

Despite having a higher education, women are still expected to give up their careers and occupations for their children and spend the rest of their lives in the kitchen with little or no recognition.
The pivotal moment occurs when Shefali Shah's character, Manju, the primary character and party host, loses her temper. She grabs a glass, pours herself some juice, and leaves the kitchen to unwind in the cool air and sit between areas that are dominated by men.
The other women in attendance were astounded by the lady's bravery in sitting between the men in this world ruled over by men.

Shefali Shah's expression betrays her obvious dissatisfaction with the male community, particularly with her spouse.

I
Positive Points

The narrative highlights the strength of women's resistance to gender discrimination, a significant but seldom highlighted issue. Shaifali Shah, who plays the main character, offers an amazing performance that lends the part depth. Many women will be able to relate to the movie's realistic and relatable depiction of the issues that women face daily. The film's satisfying conclusion leaves viewers with strong feelings. The screenplay of the film is so impressive that it describes the full scenario within 15 minutes.

I Negative Points

Some viewers may find the plot predictable because it depicts the daily struggles of middle-class family women. The movie's female lead's behavior could have a detrimental effect on certain women, which may create rebel characters in them. The protagonist's perspective is the main emphasis of the movie; the perspectives of other characters are not thoroughly explored. The film's short runtime implies that it might not explore the topics it brings up in as much detail as a longer film.
