Plot Line

Guillermo del Toro is the creator and host of the series of distinct plot episodes called "Cabinet of Curiosities."

When a person's home or bank is no longer able to hold their possessions, they opt to store them in a unit for a set price in 24-hour storage. However, if a unit's owner passes away, cannot make rent payments, or vanishes for an extended period, the unit will be put up for auction (collection in that unit). Anyone who pays more gets to keep everything valuable, semi-valuable, or worthless in that unit.
Nick, who is heavily in debt and whose sole source of income is from purchasing auction units and then selling the items inside, won Lot 36 at an auction where he discovered some strange, ominous items that were pricey but might be dangerous to him.
