Plot Line

The positive and negative effects of social media on individuals and communities have already been observed. It might be helpful in the workplace, bringing someone up or down in a single evening, but it can also ruin someone's life in a matter of hours.

Additionally, the idea of social media ranking—which has no real-world counterpart—is the foundation of our plot.
Lacie, a status freak who always has a phony smile on her face, lives in a society where a person's social media ranking determines everything. Lacie did everything she could to raise her social media profile to receive a discount on the rented home. She also went to the wedding of a prominent old acquaintance to get a hike in her social ranking.
