I Plot Line

"Nothing to Hide" (French: "Le Jeu") is a 2018 French comedy-drama film directed by Fred Cavayé. Three couples and a bachelor, all old friends, gathered for dinner at the start of the film. To liven up the celebration, they played a game where each person placed their phone on the table and had to answer the speaker in front of the group if the phone called or display a message if a pop-up appeared.
Some supported the game, and some did not. The guys who don't agree say it's against privacy, but should you keep your spouse in the dark as well?

The game looked enjoyable initially, but as it gained traction, secrets started to surface, relationships began to fall apart, patience was set to the test, tricks were conducted, and fabrications of stories and lies were formed. The relationships appeared ideal initially, but they soon took an unanticipated and hazardous turn.
The movie examines issues of trust, privacy, and the complexity of contemporary relationships, emphasizing how technology can bring people together and drive them apart.
Watch to see whether they reveal the dark reality hiding behind their seemingly ideal lives. And observe how they ruined their lives in an attempt to liven up the evening.

I Positive Points

The concept of revealing everyone's emails, calls, and phone messages is intriguing and captivating, despite the risks involved. Each member of the cast gave a strong performance. A wide range of people can relate to the themes of trust, adultery, friendship, and the difficulties of contemporary relationships. The picture has the ideal balance of humor, suspense, tension, drama, and fear. Sometimes, a one-house film can have a greater impact than a big-budget film.

I Negative Points

The entire movie's concept is obvious to spectators since, if you're trying to hide something, you may experience daily anxiety over disclosing secrets. The first half is usually captivating and well-paced, but the second half can seem drawn out. The movie may dull viewers due to its constrained seating, small cast, and narrow focus. The movie doesn't send a positive message because it finishes with relationship betrayals.
